I recently visited Loch Raven Reservoir, outside Baltimore, intending to paint a water scene. I happened upon this path and grove of trees along the water’s edge and was captivated. I knew that I just had to paint this instead. 9X12 Oil on Linen Panel done en Plein Aire.
